Sea-Med is a small development having 13 villas in landscaped gardens around a communal pool. The complex is situated on the hillside just a 2 minute stroll to the Bodrum bus stop and a 10 minute walk from Yalikavak centre. No.8 is a detached villa adjacent to the swimming pool and sleeps 4/5 people. It has 2 twin bedded rooms with ceiling fans & portable air-con. A living room with bed-settee, C D player & CDs, Books, Games & Travel Guides. 2 bathrooms - 1 with toilet & bath/shower & the 2nd with toilet & shower. A kitchen, sunroom with patio above accessed from both bedrooms and roof terrace (with fabulous views over the bay). The kitchen is very well equipped with toaster, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & ironing board, a barbecue is also available. All bed linen and towels are provided including hand, bath and beach towels, also 2 hairdryers. Everything in fact for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Area Details YALIKAVAK has a relaxed & friendly atmosphere where locals mix with visitors. The small harbour is lined with traditional Turkish restaurants and in high season these harbour-side cafes and tavernas are the focus of laid-back evening entertainment. There is a traditional Windmill, some 300 years old, opened as a gift shop. A typically Turkish market is held every Thursday. Yalikavak is a small fishing village where lazy days revolve around the harbour, sunbathing on one of the tiny beaches, or taking one of the fabulous daily boat trips available to some of the many bays around. A very enjoyable & cheap day out with all food included for approximately £10. There is also a fabulous very smart new Marina, complete with shop, supermarket, cafes & amphitheatre. For the more energetic there are a couple of new tennis courts in the village.
If you fancy a night on the town \"Booming Bodrum\" is about 30 minutes away by Dolmus. This short trip provides some of the most spectacular scenery on the peninsular.
BODRUM is a bustling, cosmopolitan resort with twisting bazaar streets full of bars, restaurants, shops, boutiques and discos. Halikarnas is probably the largest outdoor disco in the Mediterranean with it\'s spectacular laser shows. The resort covers two bays separated by St. Peter\'s castle and in the very large harbour some of the most beautiful wooden gulets moor alongside luxury yachts. Travel Details A regular and inexpensive dolmus (minibus) service
connects Yalikavak to Bodrum. Taxis readily available (within 5 mins)for local transport. Car Hire can also be arranged, as can transport from/to the airport.
