Area Details Along the South-West Coast of Sicily, situated between the area of the Doric Temples of Selinunte and the area of the archeological excavations of Eraclea Minoa, is the town of Menfi, in the Province of Agrigento. It is situated in a big area which is considered the biggest archeologial zone of the Mediterranean (Selinunte, Segesta, Adranone, Eraclea Minoa and Agrigento). The coast of Menfi, which borders the Mediterranean Sea, extends far about 10 kilometres and it is characterized by a sandy beach and by the presence of the natural beauty of the 'Dunes'. The Dunes in fact break into the inland far several hundred metres and are characterized by mability due to the shortage of ram, to the African heat and finally to the power of the wind.
