This apartment is set in a rural garden with magnificent views overlooking the Pataiko Gulf twoards the islands of Kepahlonia (where Captain Corelli's Mandolin was filmed)and Zakinthos, and in another direction Mainland Greece. In another direction views look out over the city of Patras, the western gateway to Greece and the magnificent new Rion-Antirion Bridge (the largest of its kind in the world) which will link the Peloponnese to the Mainland.
From Patras you will find buses, boats and trains to all tourist desinations in the nearby vicinity.
Travel Details
A short downhill walk from the local village, where buses depart hourly for the town of Patras just 20 minutes away. By car it is one hour to the ancient archaelogical site of Olympia and two and a half hours from Delphi and only minutes away from local beaches and seaside tavernas. A car would be beneficial as this is a rural location. |
