Quiet location, easy stroll into town, comfortable villas with private pool in lovely gardens with BBQ and gazebo. There are lovely, shaded sun terraces. There are two x 2 bedroom villas, each sleeps 4+1. Each is fully self contained. Bedrooms have air conditioning at £10 per night.
The swimming pool is kept immaculately and the owners are on hand in the unlikely event that you have and problems. Having said this, they will always respect your privacy. They have a very friendly dog and cat.
There is a small shop for basics a few minutes walk away, and the whole town centre is about 15 minutes walk.
Washing machine and linen changed weekly. 2 toilets - 1 upstairs and 1 down. Area Details Dalyan is a conservation area which has a wealth of history and breath taking scenery . It is surrounded by mountains and forests ,cotton fields and there are no high rise hotels . Take a row boat from town to the other side of the river where there are the magnificent 4th century Lycian rock tombs and the amazing ruined city of Caunos, which is currently being excavated. This site is amazing and definately worth the climb.. you can also visit the mud baths and thermal springs further up the river. there are a number of tours availbale from town including white water rafting,jeeps safari and paragliding.
The town of Dalyan itself is a very pleasant resort that has retained much of its original fishing-village atmosphere.
There is a wonderful market on Saturdays when the locals come into town to sell their produce, as well as many genuine fakes being sold in the clothing and jewellery area. Dalayan has a wide range of restaurants , cafes and bars. it prides itself on a warm and friendly welcome with an intimate feeling , so much so few people visit just once. Travel Details Turkish buses, dolmas are frequent and very good value for money.
Enjoy a lazy boat taxis from the harbour in town to the beach .The meandering 20 minute journey takes you through the meandering river through a delta, rich with reeds and birdlife. It reaches the sea at the Iztuzu beach where marine turtles come to lay their eggs. (The beach is a protected conservation area although it can be used for swimming and sunbathing).
