"The house in the orange grove" is a country house wich was built at the start of the 20th century and restored in 1999,equipped with all comforts while retaining its traditional style.The tile-covered roof keeps the house naturally cool,which makes it an ideal place for the summer.In a 4000 m2 area of orange and lemon trees,surrounded by the essence of flowers,the thousands of olive trees,as well as the place and calmness of the countryside,you will live an unforgettable experience.The spacious rooms of the house,the sunny garden,and the beautiful patio,will help you relax and feel as part of nature.The country house has got 2 spacious bedrooms(with two double and two single beds),a large living and dining-room with a fire place,a separated fully-equipped kitchen,a bathroom,a built-in bbq,and a traditional wood oven.The house is not to be rented for less than 5 days. Area Details The area is ideal for long walks, bicycling,mountain bike rides,and off-road destinations.There is a shopping center in a 500m distance with super-markets,bakeries,butcher's,groceries,pharmacy,medical center,gas station,restaurant,tavern,bars,coffe places,hair-saloons,police station,etc.The country house is located 24 klm from Chania,6 klm from the clean beach of Tavronitis,and 12 klm from Platanias.Also,it takes less than an hour to reach the tourists' favourite destinations,such as Palaiochora,Balos,Falasarna,and Elafonisi. Travel Details There is a regular everyday bus transportation to and from Palaiochora(3 times a day),Platanias and Chania(6 to 8 times a day),as well as a local taxi station with 4 vehicles.
