Property Details
The Lounge with its panoramic views overlooking the sun terrace, pool and ocean is perfect for a large family. The kitchen is modern and well equiped and the formal dining table has wonderful sea views. You are more likely to find yourself eating on the eleveated sun terrace by the pool watching the world go by.
Comfortably accommodating 10 in 5 full size/full height bedrooms (Some villas often count loft rooms). 4 ensuite bathrooms. Every bedroom except one, has either a private balcony, terrace or garden. The Master Bedroom has a twin ended Spa bath with a window overlooking the bay. Air conditioning in all bedrooms
To keep the kids entertained there a Games room with a pool table and ping pong. The entertainment system includes TV, Satellite, DVD, 5 speaker surround sound, Playstation 2 and games. Area Details Kalkan is a quiet and charming Mediterranean port with a host of restaurants, many on the roof tops. There is a wide variety of shops for those who like to browse, offering local goods and antiques, and most of the owners will love to barter with you.
Apart from several hotels with excellent facilites (large pools, turkish baths, tennis courts etc) where non residents are welcomed, there are several beach clubs where for the price of a sun bed you can laze the day away and swim in the azure sea. Snorkelling is excellent and there are two good diving schools locally, one in Kalkan and one in the next bay, Kalamar. Kalkan itself has a small beach and wonderful sandy beaches can be found within a short drive in either direction from Kalkan.
There are many historical sites worth visiting and close at hand in the Taurus mountains you can visit villages where the traditional way of living and farming still continues.

Getting around with a car is always more fun. These can easily be hired locally by the day or week.
Dolmus buses run from the center of the village, they are cheap and run regulary to various towns and beaches. Taxis are cheap and abundant.
Excursions to the many Lycian sites can be arranged locally.
