Golf courses are plenty as are perched villages, markets, galleries, museums. Visit LA CHAPELLE DE MATISSE in Vence (his last and greatest work). Drive to the sea-laze on the beach-dine in a local restaurant-sit & watch the world go by in a terrace cafe-buy a baguette-eat a PLAT DU JOUR-take a ride on the little tourist train or take the light railway train towards Digne (train des pignes).
