One bedroom apartment on a sandy beach with lovely views over marina and the Mar Menor. There are 2 balconies, off the bedroom and the lounge, both are large enough to dine on, the sunset over the marina is really beautiful!
The apartment has recently been modernised with a new kitchen with dishwasher, new bathroom and has reverse air heating also. A double sofa bed will comfortably sleep an extra couple in the lounge.
A few steps will take you onto the sandy beach, if you get bored with this one just cross the road and you have more stretches of sand on the Mediterranean. Area Details La Manga is a sleeve of land with the warm waters and sandy beaches of the Mar Menor on one side and the Med Sea on the other, in some places this sleeve is only 100 feet wide.
The water sports are fantastic and the diving is reported to be one of the best in Europe, the 5* La Manga Golf Club with 3 courses and its world standard tennis club are only 10 mins drive away.
Local fisherman fish off the beach and the Marina, fishing trips can be organised from many of the Marinas as can boat hire or charter. Ski, and all watersport lessons are available nearby.
Restaurants, bars and all necessary shopping is within walking distance making a car unnecessary.
This is a very Spanish area, you may find a pool table or the odd machine but the emphasis is on relaxing, eating, drinking and making new friends if you want to, the locals famillies meet up here once or twice a year and you might find yourself enjoying one of the impromptu parties that happen on the pathways and beaches.
The restaurants are good with the emphasis on the very fresh fish, just a minutes walk is a very good restaurant offering 3 course 'menu del dia' for 7 Euros, it is easy to eat a good meal including wine for under 10 Euros here.
A lively nightlife can be found just around the bay in Cavanah Square with restaurants, bars and 2 nightclubs.
Airport pickup can be arranged. Nearest airports are Murcia or Alicante Travel Details Regular bus service along the coast and also to Cartagena, Murcia and Madrid
