Cozy and freshly remodeled, this 1920's garden-style bungalow is just 7 doors from the first of several nearby beaches. Enjoy the backyard’s hot tub, and the Bungalow’s fireplace with free firewood, Cable TV, and an automated Shiatsu-Massage chair. This open-architecture style home has a queen Murphy bed with a wonderful Memory Foam top in the bedroom area, a queen Innerspring futon in the living room area, and up to four adult-sized twin cots available to set up in front of the fireplace for a total of 6 overnight guests.
Use our 4 bikes to ride 12 minutes to the south, to the village of Capitola with its large beach complete with volleyball courts, seaside restaurants, and fun shops. To the north is the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the West coast's oldest wooden roller coaster and free world-class entertainers on Friday nights during the summer. Call for “less than week long stays” too. The backyard has a full sized foosball table that’s great for any ages to play, and a large Gas BBQ. Pets Friendly with an outdoor shower and a 6’ high fenced in backyard.
Area Details This is the favorite playground of Northern California and with good reason. All the kids enjoy the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk where you can buy an inexpensive day pass for unlimited rides. Open every weekend and all summer. The fun villages of Capitola with it's beachside restaurants and cute shops are always having some free musical event or festival. It's just a short bicycle ride and we have a covered baby bike trailer if you need one. So many parks including Big Basin, California's first is nearby. The train ride from the redwoods to the sea with a picnic makes a fun day. Just up the coast is Ano Nuevo, a wonderful sea lion birth place and docents give great tours into the nursery area. We have a large newspaper "The Good Times" that list all the current events, locations & times. Travel Details Just two short blocks to bus line that goes everywhere. Enterprise rental car will deliver a car to your door if you want to rent a car for longer trips to Monterey Bay Aquarium or San Francisco.
