Rue Benoit Bunico was chosen as part of the Vieux Nice rejuvenation in the 1980´s, and the apartment is located on the third floor of a quality, historic building, completly renovated by the city of Nice at that time. The street has become popular with tourists for its small artisan stores & benefits from on-street security cameras.
The open marble stairway leads to an apartment benefitting from modernisation such as double glazing, while retaining traditional features such as window shutters.

An iron & ironing board are available for guests' use, & there is a self service laundrette 2 minutes walk from the apartment Area Details Wake to the sound of the bells of ancient churches, step out of the apartment into the charming old streets & Italianate squares (Place Rosetti, next to the apartment being one of the most typical), to buy breakfast in one of the wonderful boulangeries by the appartment.
Or in 2 minutes you are standing in Cours Saleya with its famous markets of fruit, flowers & antiques. This is THE heart of the city, where locals & tourists alike sit in the cafes, restaurants & bars & enjoy the Joie de vivre for which the region is famous. Cross the Promenade from here & you are on the longest beach on the Cote dÁzur, still only 4 minutes walk from the apartment.
Enjoy fine dining amidst the wonderful baroque architecture, and after dinner perhaps take in a performance at the Opera- still 6 minutes walk from the appartment.
