Mountain Valley, a small exclusive group of 6 private apartments with a swimming pool, bar and restaurant is an ideal holiday retreat - set in a quiet beautifully picturesque location, yet within walking distance of all local amenities. Situated directly at the foothills of the famous Olu Deniz mountains the apartments have breathtaking views over Olu Deniz and the surrounding areas.
Just 2 km from the world famous Olu Deniz beach/lagoon and 0.5 km from the neighbouring village of Hisaronu, while the nearby town of Fethiye is only a short journey from Mountain Valley.
The apartments are fully air conditioned.
The apartments have a bright open plan setting with either a double or twin bedded bedroom, shower/toilet, living room with 2 sofa beds (comfortably sleeps 2 adults/children), well equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for 4 people and 2 private balconies. An additional bed can also be arranged, if required. Every kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, mini oven, kettle and larder fridge and cooking utensils, crockery/cutlery. Bed linen and towels are provided and changed daily.
Outdoors, the secluded garden area has a private bar and separate restaurant serving a wide selection of snacks and meals. The restuarant area has a large open feature fireplace for the cooler evenings in May/October. A communal lounge area has a selection of board games and satellite TV with British news and TV. By the pool there are sun loungers with cushions, tables and umbrellas. In the shaded orchard area we have 2 hammocks for the ultimate in relaxation!
Area Details
Mountain Valley is sitauted at the bottom of Baba Dag or Father Mountain. Olu Deniz, which is only a short journey away, offers not only a beautiful beach, but a wide selection of bars, restaurants and lokantas (specialising in Turkish cuisine).
For the more lively, nearby Hisaronu village which is only a 5 minute walk from Mountain Valley offers a more bustling nightlife and a greater selection of shops as well as a weekly market where many bargains can be found (and haggled over!).
The Nearby town of Fethiye is only a short (& cheap!) Dolmus (the local bus) ride away. This is where you will find a wealth of jewellery/leather/traditional Turkish carpet (Kilim) shops as well as many other local attractions. A weekly market is also held here every Tuesday. Fethiye harbour has some of the best views of this region of the South West Turkish coast and also, for fish lovers, some of the most delicious seafood.
The nearest airport to Mountain Valley is Dalaman which is approximately 50 minutes away. Transfers to/from the airport can be arranged at a cost of £15 per person, each way, with discounts for larger parties.
Travel Details
The local buses - the dolmus - run on the road that passes near Mountain Valley - approximately a 5 minute walk away. The dolmuses run every 15 minutes throughout the summer to the resort of Olu Deniz and in the opposite direction to the local town of Fethiye. |
