The villa belongs to an exclusive private guarded condominium on the Sabaudia lake. As it is connected directly to the seashore by a private underpass on the Lungomare, you can walk to the beach in swim suit and children can safely go round by themselves. Area Details Sabaudia is a modern agricultural center, founded by Mussolini in the 1930s as a part of his plan to drain the marshes south of Rome and render them habitable for Roman farmers. Sabaudia is part of the sprawling Circeo National Park, named after the imposing promontory of Monte Circeo dominating this stretch of sandy shoreline. On the southern slopes of M. Circeo lies the medieval village of San Felice Circeo. You can climb up to the summit of the mountain that has some of the most spectacular ocean view in Lazio. From the nearby town of Terracina you can reach by ferry the Pontine Islands, Lazio's most splendid asset. It is a stunning volcanic archipelago with mountain spines and turquoise waters.
