Fully furnished and equipped 4 en-suite bedroomed house with swimming pool by the river, close to the beach, in tropical Bahia, Northeast Brazil.
Imagine a very pleasant house, with a gate that leads to a beautiful beach.
The shady river beach with white sands just outside our gate is visited mainly by residents of this small private residential estate.
The Jacuipe river, with its clear waters and sandy bottom (not muddy) is ideal for swimming, fishing, kayacking and boating.
The Barra de Jacuipe beach is 700 meters via the river or 1.200 meter by the road.
The large delightful verandah leading into the swimming pool deck area has beautiful river views and is surrounded by lots of green.
The living room, open plan with the bar and internet areas, has a big TV, CD and DVD player.
The kitchen is well-equipped and has a convenient pantry.
The 4 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms are large and airy, have split air conditioning and ceiling fan. Our good showers are heated using the always present power of the Bahian sun.
Sliding netting on doors and windows of the upstairs rooms makes them even more airy.

Other beautiful beaches closeby are Arembepe, Guarajuba, Itacimirim and Praia do Forte.
Besides beaches, there are also other interesting places around like a nature reserve, a hippie village and the ruins of a castle.
We are close to many grocery shops, pharmacies, fishmongers, bakery, bars, restaurants, shops and beach bars (all at walking distance). Travel Details We are located 33 kms (1/2 hour) from the international airport of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
There are direct flights to Salvador from Europe and the US.
There are also direct flights to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Recife from all over the world.
Connections from these cities to Salvador are usually easy and quick.
Buses
Easy and frequent bus routes to/from: Salvador, Salvador airport, Praia do Forte, Guarajuba, Arembepe, Itacimirim, Costa de Sauípe, Mangue Seco.
The easiest bus routes leaving the Estação Rodoviária (bus-station) many times a day are with the "Linha Verde" coach company. Take "Praia do Forte" or "Costa do Sauípe". Both take the Estrada do Côco in the direction of the state of Sergipe. Bus drivers are used to stopping 'on request'. We will give you precise instructions on where to get off by email.

Taxi
From Salvador or the Airport it is possible to come by taxi, but it would probably be cheaper if we arrange this for you, with an advance reservation. In this case the taxi driver will be waiting for you on your arrival with a signboard with your name.
Car
From Salvador you may choose to use the Avenue Luis Viana (AKA Paralela) from the terminal buses (Estação Rodoviária) or Iguatemi Mall (Shopping Center Iguatemi) towards the airport (traffic can be heavy between 6 and 8pm).
Or you may choose the longer but beautiful route via the "Orla", along the beachside road, going to Itapuan, turning left on Avenue Dorival Caymi and then following the signs to the airport..
From there, follow the Estrada do the Coco, we are located in Barra do Jacuípe, just after the bridge over the Jacuípe river. Please let us know you are coming and we will give you precise directions.
