Traditional country house, close to some of the best beaches in the Mediterranean, provides an ideal getaway for guests yearning for a unique holiday experience replete with tranquillity, comfort and relaxation.
The house provides a total living area of 200 square meters with another 300 square meters of courtyards and garden for sole use by the tenants. The main entrance to the house takes you to the upper floor where there are three independent and spacious bedrooms tastefully decorated with light colours and antique pieces, each with en-suite bathrooms, one of which includes a jacuzzi bathtub. All bedrooms have flat screen TVs and A/C.
The ground floor features a truly spacious sitting room with fireplace & 2 sofa beds, flat screen TV, DVD, Hi Fi System. The rustic kitchen is fully equipped whereas a large white-marble sink adds to the kitchen’s traditional characteristics. Exposed beams, high ceilings, wooden floors, antiques, and unique wrought-iron beds give the mansion the character and feel of a genuinely refined and elegant country house. A large courtyard, an old walnut tree, a traditional wood burning oven and built-in barbeque to the side, create exquisite sitting and dining areas with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Area Details Dragano is a quiet village, only a short drive away from the most beautiful beaches of Lefkada Island (Porto Katsiki, Egremni, Gialos). The green landscape offers endless choices for walking through rich vegetation, forests and dirt roads. Mountain biking is an excellent activity for those feeling adventurous (4 bikes provided).
The village is 30 kms away from Lefkada town (entrance to the island), at the island's southwest side which is its wildest and most unspoilt part. A choice of restaurants, bakery, mini-markets can be found at the next village called Athani (1.6 kms). Health centre, police, post office and a wider choice of tavernas, cafes and bars can be found at Vasiliki village (12 kms). Travel Details By bus/car: Lefkada is the only Greek island that can be accessed via a floating bridge, therefore not having to worry about ferry tickets. Frequent bus service to/from Athens, Salonica
By airplane: International (charter flights) and domestic flights (Athens, Ionian Islands, Crete) to Preveza/Aktion airport.
By sea plane: Connecting to other Ionian Islands
