Dining by the pool, where there is a barbeque and furnished Gazebo, makes the perfect setting to enjoy the 'alfresco experience'. The villa's location offers total privacy to enjoy a relaxing holiday ideal for working on a total tan. ; and leave feeling relaxed, rested and looking forward to your next stay in Sicily..Secure private parking is available for up to 8 cars. At Villa Modica we try hard to give you the best villa rental experience possible.After all, your vacation is extremely important — to both of us.The pool has access from three points in the garden. All access points have gates to keep young children outside of the pool area.Pool opens 3rd week of april and closes ena of october. Area Details Inside the Villa. Inside Villa Modica, is modern and comfortable. It comes with satellite television, a dual-system VCR, screens on windows and three air conditioned bedrooms. The owner lives in Canada and rarely uses the house. His sister and her husband are the caretakers and live nearby. Maid service or a cook for a simple meal can be arranged at the time of booking.
Outside the Villa From outside,the views are breathtaking, you may hear the peal of Modica's bells from a mile away and the closer tinkling of cowbells. Already old when the Greeks found it, Modica is a vibrant city of 50,000 that's filled with mysterious feasts, great restaurants, and ancient wonders. In the summer, the beach town of Marina di Modica, 20 mins away is abuzz with nightlife. Also within 20 mins are the catacombs of Cava d'Ispica and the Port city of Pozzallo with its ferry to Malta. The Baroque city of Noto lies 30 mins. east; Siracusa: 90 ;Agrigento or Catania: 120 mins And also today Modica offers this intense taste of Baroque with its splendid views, its treasures of art, its churches, its palaces, its decorated portals risen on the ruins caused by the great earthquake of 1696 which destroyed a large part of Sicily, particularly Modica, that was immediately rebuilt thanks to a great work of its people.
