Upon entering the private gates, you will be surrounded by the beautiful garden of this charming villa situated in the hills just above the famous "Croisettte" in Cannes. Constructed in the 1920's it is located in the hills known as "le Californie". It is a 2 story Mediettanean Villa with picturesque views of the sea. Once inside, the original parquet floors lead you to the living room in warm tones of yellows and a wood burning fireplace and 10 foot ceilings. Both the living and dining room have glass doors that open out to the large tgerrace and down to the garden. The beautiful french kitchen leads to a seperate outside area with a covered patio and grill. There is a full bathroom with shower off the kitchen. There are three bedrooms upstairs which each have their own balcony. When you walk up the stairs you will enter the master bedroom with an extra large king sixe bed. The second bedroom contains two twin beds and the last bedroom has a queen size bed. The entire villa is decorated with antique chandeliers as well as antique furniture. The upstairs bathroom has both a shower and a claw-footed bathtub. Area Details The villa is close to town-just a five minute drive to the center of Cannes, the Croisette with it's famous beaches, and easy acress to world class shopping on rue d'Antibes. The A8 is nearby with a quick frive up the coast to Monaco and Italy, or make the short drive down to St. Tropez, Eze, Grasses, Antibes, Nice and St Paul Vence are all just a short drive away.
