This well appointed apartment is situated in the Mirador Del Golf complex on the prestigious Mijas Golf Development. The complex consists of 28 units built on two levels surrounding a well-maintained community pool and gardens.
No.16 is a ground floor unit and has a south-west facing balcony with tremendous views over the two golf courses on the urbanization and the mountains behind.
The apartment has an entrance hall leading to the nicely furnished living/dining room and the fully fitted open-plan kitchen. A combined heating/air conditioning unit is installed making for all year round comfort, and the sofa converts to a double bed enabling the apartment to sleep four people. Opening off the hall are the attractive double bedroom and a delightful marble tiled bathroom with bidet, bath, and shower.
Satellite television is installed and Sky TV can be obtained by inserting your own card. On request the bedroom can be configured with twin beds.
Outside the front door are steps leading to the very attractive pool and garden area which are exclusive to the complex.
All charges include bed linen, towels, electricity, and cleaning on departure. Pets are not permitted. Smoking is allowed only on the balcony and in outside areas. A welcome pack is provided and the English owners will greet you on your arrival. A non-refundable booking deposit of 20% is required, with the balance paid 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. Rentals normally run from 2pm Saturday of arrival to 10am Saturday of departure, (to allow for cleaning), but midweek changeovers can sometimes be arranged on payment of a surcharge. Mijas Golf is situated about 4 km outside Fuengirola, on the road to Coin. The bustling town of Fuengirola has wonderful beaches, restaurants, bars, an English theatre, and a range of every conceivable shop from a typical Spanish Market to major hypermarket stores.
The two golf courses on the development are some 7 minutes walk away, with six more courses within a few minutes drive.
The excellent 5-star Byblos Hotel with facilities open to residents of the urbanization is only some 5 minutes walk.
Tennis courts, horse riding, an aqua park, and go-karting are all in close proximity.
Situated just outside the main entrance are two typically Spanish restaurant/bars offering excellent hospitality at a reasonable price.
An extensive new shopping mall is now open about 2 km away, with major international stores.
Malaga Airport is at present about 25 minutes drive, but this will be shortened when a new link road from the Auto route to the shopping mall is completed. Travel Details There is a taxi stand outside, but to really enjoy the amenities of the area the use of a car is recommended. One dedicated off-road parking space is provided beneath the balcony and there is additional parking nearby.
