This charming 3-bedroom apartment is on the upper floor of a restored farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside.
There is a peaked ceiling with wooden beams and some exposed stone walls giving the apartment and true rustic feel and it is simply furnished in a typical Tuscan farmhouse style. The kitchen/lounge area has a large sofa, dining table and television. The kitchen is provided with fridge, electric stove and oven. Off of the livingroom is a bedroom with double bed. There is a second bedroom with double bed, and a third with 2 singles. The bathroom has shower-stall, sink, toilet and bidet.
The farmhouse is situated in a beautiful green valley in the center of Italy where art, culture and nature meet. It is outside of the village of Caprese Michelangelo, birthplace of 15th century artist Michelangelo, and has easy access to the historic cities of Florence, Siena, Assisi, Gubbio and only 90 minutes from the sandy beaches of Rimini and Riccione.
The swimming pool is set in a panoramic position near the house. It is 6 x 12 m with Roman stairs and has a uniform depth of 1.5 meters. The surrounding terrace and lawn is comfortably furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool is shared with guests staying in the downstairs apartment which sleeps up to 4 people.
The Italian owner and his family also reside on the property. Area Details The surrounding area offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. There are hundreds of kilometers of marked hiking trails. The large lake "Montedoglio" has good fishing and the opportunity for boating. There are also mountain bikes and the possibilty of horse back riding nearby.
Within a 15 minutes drive you will find many splendid and affordable restaurants. There is a small but well-stocked supermarket only a 5 minute walk from the house. Bank, Chemist and Doctor can be reached within a 10 minute drive.
