Villa Romar is part of the Polaris World Mar Menor Golf complex.
It is a beautifully designed, luxury 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom villa standing in its own grounds having its own kidney shaped swimming pool. It is part of a secure complex built around a village centre and a 18 hole golf course. The village has a 50 room, 5* hotel, managed by Intercontinental Hotels, its own supermarkets, pubs and restaurants as well as a large swimming pool, social centre,gym and other sports facilities.
The 9 hole golf course has been designed by Dave Thomas and is integral to the complex with its wide avenues and manicured lawns with pathways providing access to all the amenities, with plans for another 9 holes. You might even bump into Jack Niclaus who is on the adverts for Polaris World!!!
It is just 4km from the sandy beaches of the Mar Menor - inland sea - and 15 minutes from the Med.
Villa Romar is ideal for up to 6 people. It is has air conditioning through out and has full central heating for the winter months. The flooring is local tiles and the bathrooms have marble floors and walls. There are ample power points and lighting, in fact there is everything you would expect to find at home.
In the surrounding garden there is plenty of space to relax, with a BBQ and Kidney Shaped swimming pool with built in steps, just off the glazed terrace. There are plenty of chairs, sun beds and outside furniture as well as a first floor sun deck. Area Details The Mar Menor region of Spain is attributed by the World Health Organisation as the "healthiest place to live in Europe!"
The Mar Menor has a 'micro climate' all of its own. The Murcia region is also known as the 'garden of Spain' with an annual average temperature of 21° as well as 315 days of sunshine each year.
Within 15 miles there are some of Spain's best golf courses including La Manga and locally you can play golf under floodlight! Las Ramblas, Sucina and Villa Martin are just up the road! Alicante/Benidorm are only 55 minutes away for Water World, Terra Mitica and other theme parks for the children.
For a more relaxing time try the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor -the inland sea - or try the watersports or fishing. Travel Details Murcia - San Javier - airport is just ten minutes away with the larger airport at Alicante just 55 minutes.
There is easy access by the excellent road and motorway networks to Cartegena, Murcia, Almeria, Benidorm and Torrevieja.
